Bo Wikström
Sweden, has been in practice for 47 years as a licensed Psychologist and Psychotherapist in individual therapy and has offered supervision and training for many years. He is also a body psychotherapist and hypnotherapist.
In 1985 Bo undertook a month’s long training in a transpersonal program with Stanislav and Christina Grof and others at Esalen, California.
He went to the Kalahari desert to learn from the Bushmen Kung San People in the mid 80s, learning trance dance from the shamans, in order to transcend the physical body to holotropic states. A short film was made called the Kalahari Project.
He graduated from Grof Transpersonal Training in 1997, certified by Stanislav Grof and Tav Sparks. In 1999 Bo had a leading role in the organising team of the Transpersonal Conference in Stockholm University, ‘Exploring the Spiritual Dimension’.
He has worked with people from all walks of life, including psychosis, spiritual emergency, and specialises in helping people with anxiety disorders.
Bo facilitates holotropic breathwork retreats in Stockholm and holds his clinical practice at the Delphi Institute of Transpersonal Psychology of which he is the founder.
